Coaching Courses. Basketball Queensland (BQ), in partnership with our Associations and Clubs, host a number of coaching accreditation courses and events throughout the year. BQ currently facilitate the Community, Club & Association accreditation and are working with BA to reinstate further accreditation pathways.

Training programs focus on individual physical skills, technical skills and tactical knowledge at the international level. Each NPP athlete receives individually customised training programs, with a team of dedicated coaching, sports science and other support staff through BQ and the Queensland Academy of Sport managing each player’s training, work and study commitments, to give athletes every chance of success.

Level 2 Club Coach. QSAC QLD. The Level 2 Intermediate Club Coach Course is the next progression from Level 1 and further develops the coaches understanding of how to coach fundamental skills and move toward event specific skills and drills. This level teaches coaches the basic technical models of the Track and Field events held at club and school level competitions.
This course is the first step for coaches to gain formal accreditation in the sport of basketball. The information contained within this course is very broad and touches upon all the major elements involved within coaching a team at club and association levels of competition.
